Dominique White is an Indianapolis based visual artist, composer and musician. Originally from Kennesaw, Georgia, Dominique graduated high school in 2023 with Honors as a member of the Pre-Conservatory Program. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Photography with a Music minor at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dominique’s photography has been presented as part of the 2026 Etheridge Knight Celebration. In the Fall of 2025, Dominique served as the Graphic Design Intern at the Harrison Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Where she developed a new logo for “Forgiving Tuesday” and worked alongside other teams to create brand-aligned posters, calendar pages and social media images.
Her work is inspired by the desire to capture the raw moments in the world around her. Within photography Dominique focuses on scenic skies, landscapes and buildings down to bumble bees collecting pollen in a community garden. Dominique's main goal is to capture a nostalgic feeling when viewing the photographs. Calling back to that original moment. She hopes that similar feelings are conveyed to viewers creating a sense of nostalgia or anemoia, nostalgia for a time or place the individual has never known.
